The protection of minors at the JEVER FUN SKIHALLE Neuss has been strictly observed since its opening. Entry to Skihalle parties and the sale of alcoholic drinks are strictly and sensibly controlled. The responsible authorities have confirmed that when carrying out checks at the JEVER SKIHALLE Neuss, no infringements have occurred regarding minors' welfare and protection regulations.

The following measures are, and have always been applied regarding parties:

Measures applied in observance of minors’ protection regulations

• Security Service:
  At each party at the JEVER SKIHALLE Neuss, according to the season, from seven to twelve security personnel watch over the public activity. The personnel are trained to §34a (GewO) standards and have years of experience in entrance checks and handling of the guests in the building. For many years, all incidents have been recorded in writing and any necessary measures are taken immediately.
• Entry checks:
  Two to three security personnel at the main entrance control admission. Any person trying to enter who does not plainly appear to be of legal age, is required to show his or her identity card.
  The clear majority of entry refusals given is due to the visitor being under age. Under 18s are refused admittance to parties.
• Patrols:
  Due to the presence of skiing guests, it can be that younger guests are in the building after admission control has begun, who have been using the piste since the afternoon. Therefore, the security personnel also carry out regular identity card checks of younger guests throughout the whole public area of the building after any parties have started. The checks are intensified after 10 pm and any under 16s are escorted from the building by security. At midnight, further checks are carried out and any under 18s are escorted out. Beyond the current regulations, under 18s who are accompanied by legal guardians may only remain in the Skihalle until midnight, when they must leave the building even when the guardian is willing to accept responsibility.
• Bar staff and service personnel:
  Bar staff and service personnel are instructed as to the regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and carry out identity card checks in cases of doubt.
• DJ Announcements:
  Our DJs announce the end of the under 18s time limit before midnight to clearly remind minors of their deadline.
• Birthday parties for under 18s:
  Birthday parties for under 18s are not allowed during Skihalle parties.
